We are presenting Beta-version of Theatrical Russia Online - english version

Here you find vital information on each of Russian more over 1500 theatres and festivals, including address, phones, faxes, e-mails, web-sites, artistic directors, management, capacity and data of foundation.

Since 2002 we publish Annual Directory Theatrical Russia. The Directory Theatrical Russia providing information on Drama and Musical Theatres, Opera and Ballet Companies, Puppets, Ministries of Culture, Funding Agencies, Venues, Philharmonic Societies, Festivals, Competitions, Producers, Actors, Directors, Artists, Choreographers, Composers, Mass media, Products and Services of the Russian Federation.

Our data base contains not only about Russian performing Arts Organizations information, also about theatres and venues of ex-Soviet Republics (CIS and Baltic countries).

Every year we publish “Grossbuch” – 2 kilos book contains aprox. 1000 pages. For more than 8 years our directory has been the publication of record for those seeking important information like contacts, technical characteristic of the stage, repertory, history, cast, awards, tours, etc. The directory also contains a wealth of statistic information on playwrights and performing plays.

You have almost no chance to get any information about Russian performing arts organizations in English. Unfortunately only well-known big ship like Bolshoi or Mariinskiy Theatres have English version of their web-sites. And now we did it – we translated in English small part of our data base.

At the present time this source already has English version. But it is more poor then Russian version. We do all the best to share information about Russian performing arts organization in English soon. Аt the same time make our apologies of imperfective English in this edition.
